Fab drumming lessons. Jonathan has been teaching my daughter for only a few months - she had come on leaps and bounds and her passion for drumming has blossomed. Jonathan’s lessons are paced dependant on the student and my daughter feels she is able to learn at a speed she is comfortable with. Jonathan Groethe is a great drum teacher. I really enjoy going to his drum lessons because it's lots of fun and very challenging. I find his style of teaching very laid back and relaxing which makes it easier and more fun to learn. I suffer from all types of seizures including epilepsy. Through having drum lessons regularly I have managed to control a lot of my seizures by learning to control my stress levels, which is a big trigger of seizures. Jonathan Groethe instructs my two boys, ages 7 and 9. They have been taking instruction under Jonathon for a few months now and there is a definite improvement and progression with each weekly lesson. There hasn’t been lessons that I have ever had to make them go as they have sincerely enjoyed taking lessons and actually look forward to each weekly lesson. Jonathon’s techniques used, in particular, with children, makes it a fun learning environment for them without making them feel like learning is such a burden by being inundated with theory. Jonathan is able to intertwine the theory into the lessons, as well keeping the beats “fresh” with different types of music-never boring and most importantly, the kids don’t feel overwhelmed. Who doesn’t learn better while having fun! Kudos to Jonathon for a job well done in instruction!
